- Register electronic billing services with clearinghouses
- Verify & communicate client insurance benefit amounts\limits & deductibles
- File Insurance claims electronically or by paper as required. Claims are filed within 2 days of receipt
- Monthly client billing notices via paper statements with payment activity
- Monthly insurance company follow up on unpaid claims and mitigate issues as required
- Communication with clients & providers regarding balances, payments and claims
- Monitor and communicate with provider regarding client benefits, authorization expiration and/or limits being met.
- Private pay billing as directed
- Courtesy calls to clients for payment reminders as directed
- Send unpaid accounts to 3rd party collection agency as directed
